AMERICAN CZESTOCHOWA

The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa and Monastery of the Pauline Fathers and Brothers is located in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It is the mother house of the Pauline Order in the United States, where the Provincial of the American Province resides and the Provincial Chapter regularly convenes. The largest Pauline community in the United States also resides in the Doylestown Monastery.

However, like Jasna Gora in Poland, it is the home of our Mother, – the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is present at this Shrine on Beacon Hill in a special way, in the icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Ever since its foundation in 1955, it has been a place of pilgrimage not just for the Polish-American community but for pilgrims of all different nationalities.
